I want to follow-up on what happened.
I followed the suggestions.
I change the salt water cure and placed a lot more metal.
When I did that the room was still icy cold and I was still scared. The next day, I opened the door to see if there had been any change and...
THE ROOM WAS WARM AGAIN!!!
So...I feel comfortable keeping the door open now.
Very strange but I am now a firm believer of the salt water cure.

I have an interesting story. As a background, my bedroom is in NW. Later last Sunday after I made new salt coins water cure for bedroom, I went to the mall. In going home, I accidentally left my wallet in a cab. Until the driver sent me an SMS to tell me about the incident, I still didn't know that wallet was missing. Driver said he had 2 more separate passengers after me. Twas the last pax who informed him abt presence of wallet and its contents scattered at back seat. Could be pax after me who scavenged its contents. The happy ending is that the wallet was returned to me the following day by cab owner representative (cash of small amount gone but all other impt items intact). To show my appreciation, I gave representative and driver, each, my favorite give-away & a little cash reward (you guessed it right -- ang pao's with 3 i-ching coins tied in red string)

Hmmm, master, thanks for quizzing me about what I know of star 5. It reminded me that it could cause losses and that perhaps the salt cure "cured" that misfortune.

I'd like to share my experience with salt water cure. My first salt coins cure was installed right before Chinese New Year. It cured my throat irritation. Never had any related health issue since then until the cure somewhat weakened over time. A week before I disposed the old cure, I happened to touch the container as I topped it up with some more water that had gone dry. Almost immediately, that old ailment began to mildly manifest again. So last Sunday I replaced it with an all new fresh cure disposing the old one. Now, all is well again.

Coincidence? - I don't think so, there's more! Someone in this forum has suggested to throw away the cure after 3 months, or maybe when you see mineral deposits in the mouth of the glass ,throw them right away - which my mistake I forgot that I have to throw them- 2 and 1/2 month s the glass was so full of mineral deposits- then my agent and the company I worked with didn't agree with the buy out policy ( the company wants to keep me and buy me out of my agent). So when I stayed home and noticed the glass I realised I have to replace the cure- after a week... I received a call from another company for a year contract.

Coincidence? not for me ....

9) Master,

I have placed the salt & water coins for about a week. I have been topping up the water in the jar. The jar seems very clean. No difference from the first time. Does it mean my home's chi is ok?

However, I notice my daughter's attitude seems to be better, seems closer to the other siblings and at least talk to us. Keeping my fingers crossed that it is the effect of the cure. My husband seems to have recover from his flu and seems better in mood too. Keeping my fingers crossed again....

We did put a cure in the NW corner of our living room.
I admire your patience. Answering all the questions, giving advices. You are one of a kind.

ah yes... calmness is in order for sure. Thank you for your words of encouragement.

My friend and I were talking about how much fun it is to work together, how much more productive we are - and it's easier going through someone else's "stuff". So, I volunteered to help her do what we are doing to my place. She is going to be moving soon, so that will be a great time for her to put all of her feng shui in place.

Today, even in the midst of my husband's happy birthday celebrations and retirement weekend (all rolled up into one big weekend event...) I feel an inner peace that all is well in my world.

Thank you so much for your salt and coins cure. I have an interview 3 business days after the installation, then inteviewed with another company one week later, then another 2 weeks later.... Called for second interview today with the second company!

Guess what?! I've got the job that I have been hoping for!!!! To say that I am estatic is an understatement of the year! I did another SWC in my room a day before I went for the interview ( I know I should stick with 1 cure but I'm really desperate for the job). The interview went better than I expected. I was taken aback when I met my interviwer, cos she was my ex supervisor from another company who I had a tiff with. I thought "here's my retribuition now". But even though she remembered the tiff, she said it's water under bridge. I got a pay higher than I hoped for and the hours are shorter than I expected. So THANK YOU very much for everything. I'll remember you in my prayers when I go Kuan Yin Temple.

I understand there are many different ways to interpret this art. I know that some masters say that there are cures and placement, and that if you feel something is not right, no matter what the master says, you should not do what is suggested. I know that when the black hat "master" came to my home, I tried to follow her suggestions, but I did not feel comfortable, and ended up having a very bad 2 days until I put things right according to traditional ways.
Also, some things I had never heard of had IMMEDIATE effects. The salt cure had everything back to normal within 24-36 hours.

You had asked for an update on the salt/coin cure. This is truly an interesting story, I just don't know whether anyone else would want to see. This past week (since Friday, sept 2) I was hostin a reunion with my husband for his military sector. People were coming from all over the world, and since the hurricane in the gulf coast was near many, we were afraid all of the tours we had contracted, and food, rooms, etc., would be a financial nightmare for our group!
I figured that the salt/coin cure had helped a lot in the past month, I would just leave it alone, as it was protected by a plate I had put under it (by the way, it is a round gold plate). The only thing near the plate is a doll that my mother had, which reminds me of her, and gives me comfort as she has passed away.
The reunion was going ok, not many had cancelled, but quite the opposite, many came that were not expected, and wanted to take more tours, meals, etc. We were really not prepared for this, but everything seemed to work out. Each nite I came home the crystallisation on the glass seemed to double. It was a mess! But I left it until the last day, and thought the big issues were solved. First thing Wednesday morning (the last day of the reunion) I threw the old glass, water and all, in the trash and took it to the sidewalk to be picked up the next morning.
Well, all hell broke loose on Wednesday. One of our very important guests had to leave suddenly (he got the call around the same time I threw the old cure away) another guest called and couldn't make it, one of our other guest's back went out and was unable to help anymore, my son and I got into an argument (we never do that) and then, my husband was snubbed by the committee who had asked him to put this reunion on!. There are many other things that happened that day, but by about 9:00 that evening, everything was back on track, even to the point where an admiral had singled out my husband to tell him what a wonderful convention he had put on, and insisted on pictures with him!
The time that had gone by was about 14 hours. When I got home, I noticed that there was only a tiny bit of erosion on the very top of the glass. The next day, I had a few early morning things that troubled me, but they worked out within an hour or so, and since then everything has been fine.
I tell you this in detail for two reasons: One, it seems as if this cure gets stronger as it sits, and two, it seems to take a few hours to get going once you put a new one out.
I do not pray, nor make this an alter, in fact, as it is in my family room, I actually hide it with a symbolic happy relic for myself. I will now be able to suggest this to people and be absolutely sure it will work. When I disposed of the first one, I used gloves, but I had not yet taken a shower for the day. Perhaps I would have had a better day, but still, all bad things were resolved by the end of the day.
I so much appreciate your insight and look forward to many positive days.

Just a quick update.

Our Aunt is doing fantastic and would like to send her Thanks to you, as well.

Her Doctor's are very pleased, she feels incredible, and we seen her last week, and she looks amazing. We were actually at a family reunion and everyone was commenting on how well she looked and that her color was the best that it has been in more than 3 years.

We are all so pleased.

My problem was that I felt that something was sitting on my chest at night when I slept. With the knowledge from this website, I learnt to close the toilet seat and the door at all times. The mountain pictures helped and especially the salt water cure.

My home is totally different, peaceful, my husband is more relaxed and also my son is doing better in school. Our business is starting to pick up, now all I need is to find a job. I'm hopeful.
